MAJESTIC LION
Majestic Lion is 14x11, and acrylic inks have been layered for depth of the mane. If you have questions or wish to purchase, please contact me,sues.art@gmail.com
For beginners: Tools used were scratchboard line tool, scratchboard hair (many curly prongs), Exacto knife curved blade, fiberglass brush, acrylic inks
Born and raised in the West, I have always been drawn to the cowboy and the Western environment.
My acrylic paintings and scratchboard art try to capture the essence of the moment from the teen cowboy who has lost his chance at a buckle to the yawning lazy horse to the rodeo bull awaiting his chance to explode in the arena.
I have been an artist almost all of my life and thoroughly enjoy interpreting my visions of nature-in-the-raw as well as the nature in your home (pets).
From my art being displayed in the San Diego Museum of Art as a teen, winning countless blue ribbons and reserve sweepstakes at county fairs to placing first at the Utah State Fair, my life has been full and rewarding.
Please visit my site for more examples of my work over the years as well as my current art. http://www.sues-art.com
Majestic won Sweepstakes at the Washington county Fair, August, 2012!!
